Media

ALL Media entities desiring to attend Great Western War are required to fill out a Media Application and email it to Bridget before the Media Deadline of October 1, 2010. This is required so we can schedule enough Media Liaisons for each crew.

All Media representatives, including film crew, photographers and reporters need to sign the Media Policy and bring it to War.

Media Contact: Baroness Bridget Lucia MacKenzie, mediaatcaid-gww.org

Pre-Registration and Land Allocation

Pre-Registration is paying your Site Fee. Land Allocation is reserving your camping space with a group.
These are two different processes.

Waivers

All these PDF waiver forms are linked on the main SCA Corporate Website, in the Library of SCA Documents. Each will open in a separate window.

Adult Waivers
Minor Waivers

A responsible adult must accompany all minors (17 years or under in Calif.), who are not legally emancipated, to the war site. This must be a parent or court-appointed guardian or the adult designated on the appropriate waivers signed and notarized by the parent or legal guardian.

For more details see the Minor's Policy

Parental Consent Forms - In Caid, two forms are used for parents who allow their minors to attend an event without them.

  1. A Minor's Consent to Participate and Hold Harmless Agreement Waiver (PDF available from SCA.org) is used to show a parent's consent.
  2. A Medical Authorization for Minors with space for notorization (PDF available from SCA.org) is used to designate temporary guardianship; it allows medical treatment to be provided in the event of an emergency.
