PRE-REGISTRATION
Paying Your Site Fee in Advance, before the event
Step One:
Fill Out a Pre-Reg Form for Each Camper.
PICK ONLY ONE of the following choices.
  1. Either Use the online form and click Submit.
    You will receive a confirmation e-mail within two weeks from submission date.
  2. Or Request an email form from land@caid-gww.org
  3. Or Download and complete GWW XVI Adult Pre-Registration Form (PDF) or GWW XVI Minor Pre-Registration Form (PDF).
Step Two:
Mail in your Pre-Registration payment to:

ALONG WITH:
  1. A copy of your online pre-reg confirmation e-mail or completed Pre-Reg form.
  2. A copy of your current SCA membership card (front and back) if you have one.
  3. A completed Adult Waiver or Minor Waiver if you do not have a current (as of GWW) blue membership card
  4. A check or money order for the total (registration, pets, and extra land) made out to "SCA / Kingdom of Caid"
  5. Must be postmarked between March 1, 2013 and July 31, 2013

Merchants may not PreReg through the Camper Form
Merchants must use Merchants Registration.
(Please check back for Merchant Registration, which is not available yet.)
LAND ALLOCATION
Reserving Your Campsite with a Group
  • Camp Masters must sign up to be a Camp Master.

  • Land Allocation is dependent on your Pre-Registration. Your paid Pre-Registration must be postmarked no later than July 31, to qualify for Land Allocation. Registrations received late or for fewer than SEVEN (7) adults will be allocated to Land-Grab, Open-Camping areas.

Notes About Gate:

Cash ONLY

Please note: We will only be accepting cash at the gate. No personal checks, no credit cards, no cashier’s checks, no traveler’s checks. NO EXCEPTIONS. Please take this into account if you plan to pay upon arrival, and not through Pre-Registration.

Proof of Membership

MEMBERS: Proof of current membership and photo id will be required at check-in, even if you have pre-registered.

Family Max

There is a Family Cap for those families with more than 2 children. The fee includes 2 adults and 2 or more children.
Please mail in all of the pre-registration forms together with a single check for all family members.
Please note if you report a family max you may be asked to provide proof that you live in the same residence.

Pre-Registration Transfer Policy

The Pre-Registration Steward must RECEIVE requests for transfers in writing postmarked or e-mailed after August 15, 2013.

Pre-Registration transfers must be requested by the person whose name is on the original pre-registration form. You should include the same information in your request as you included on your pre-registration form.

  • All transfer requests for land allocation will be processed at the discrestion of the Land Steward between August 15th - September 30th, 2013.
  • After September 30, please send pre-registration transfer requests to the Gate Steward. Registrations may be transferred at the discretion of the Gate Steward. This does not include any land that was allocated to the original registered person."

    Notice to RV campers

    If you require DRY RV SPACE on site, Our use area of the park will NOT include any full hook up sites for RV campers. We can only provide dry camping spaces (no water, electricity, or sewer) in a paved or dirt lot. Dry RV sites can be reserved through the normal Pre-Registration process. Dry RV campers will be allowed to use the dump station at the full hook up site (approximately 1 mile from the Dry lot).

    if you require FULL RV HOOKUPS you must ALSO contact Buena Vista Reservations directly at (661) 868-7050 or visit their web site at http://www.co.kern.ca.us/parks/ to make a private reservation. This reservation DOES NOT INCLUDE GWW SITE FEES. Spaces are limited. The full hook up area at Buena Vista is approximately one and a half miles away from the war site via a park road. No transportation will be provided between the full hook up area and the war site.
