Attention Volunteers! Want to volunteer but not into the walk all the way to gate? Never fear, there's a Volunteer Shuttle that runs just for the purpose of getting our volunteers to and from your destination. Check in at Headquarters, which will be in a tent near merchants row 15-20 minutes before your shift and let us know that you need a ride to your volunteer location. At the end of your shift, let your shift supervisor know that you need a ride back and that person will radio for a pick-up. It might not be immediate, but we will do the best that we can to save your feet the long trek back. Please be considerate, courteous, and reasonable, the driver may not be able to take everyone at one time, or may not be able to give you door-to-door service, or may not be there exactly at the moment that you want, but it's better than not at all! We appreciate everyone that steps up to help make the war run smoothly!

Description: Help out at the information desk. Give people the schedule for the following day's classes and answer simple questions.

Description: Walk the site, go to parties, and keep the peace.
Special Conditions: NOT a warranted position. May be performed by CITs who may be trained on site during the event or others who have had a brief orientation from the CIC. *Double volunteer hours given for shifts after midnight through before 8 AM.

Equestrian

Equestrian Aide/Ground Crew

Description: A ground crew position, reset the courses between rounds, and help keep score. Ground crew must be able to handle themselves safely around horses.
Special Conditions: Must wear closed-toe shoes. Use common sense to move out of the path of a moving horse. Not allergic to horses or hay.
Teen Friendly? Yes
Shift Length: 1.5 hour shifts
Volunteers Needed: 2 ground crew per shift

Description: Meet and greet those arriving from near and far. Direct new arrivals to Gate and Registration. Check for site tokens.

Royal Liaison

Royal Liaison Assistant

Description: Keep an eye on the Thrones and other Regalia once everything is in place before court. Ensure that no one disturbs the stage.
Special Conditions: Tactful and diplomatic behavior, to be able to ask people to leave without insulting them. Ability to radio for backup if necessary.
